What the site does
The free tools read public FMCSA data and work out the filing month and year tied to a USDOT number. The paid carrier watch reads one public census row each day, sends reminders and a draft made from that row, and emails before-and-after records when the public MCS-150 date changes.
What it does not do
We do not sign in to Motus, file a form, act as your agent, decide compliance, verify authority or insurance, certify safety, approve a carrier, or give legal advice. A stale or missing date can be a data lag, system problem, state-filed update, or other gap. Check the carrier and FMCSA directly before making a business decision.
Carrier watch billing
The carrier watch is $64 a year. It renews each year through Stripe until you cancel. Cancel from the Stripe receipt before the next renewal. Access continues through the paid year. Except where law requires otherwise or a charge is wrong or duplicated, completed annual charges are not refunded.
Book check
The $19 Book check covers one submitted list of up to 2,500 unique USDOT numbers. It includes an all-results CSV, a review-list CSV, and a dated printable report. Download links stay live for 30 days. If the federal data service prevents the report from finishing, the paid link can be tried again or the charge will be refunded.
Fair use of records
Use this site for business record review. Do not use it to make an employment, housing, personal-credit, or insurance decision about a person. Do not present a result as an FMCSA decision or use it to harass a carrier. You are responsible for checking official sources and giving a carrier a fair chance to explain or correct a record.
Data and availability
FMCSA can change its data, rules, systems, or availability. Results are dated public-record snapshots, not a promise that every source is current or complete. The service may be delayed by FMCSA, Netlify, Stripe, Resend, or internet outages.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, total liability is limited to what you paid for the carrier watch in the prior year. This does not limit a right or liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
